Startup & Entrepreneurship Initiatives
Startup Weekend Serbia (Belgrade)
Under the auspices of the Foundation, Startup Weekend was brought to Serbia for the first time (and subsequently returned) at the White Palace. These intensive 54-hour events gathered entrepreneurs, developers, marketers, and designers to form teams, refine business ideas, and launch prototypes — bringing Serbia into a global startup network model hosted in over 100 countries.
· The Foundation’s leadership and Crown Prince Alexander’s speeches emphasized entrepreneurship as vital to economic growth and employment.
· Winning teams received opportunities to present at forums and join international programs.
Young Serbian Entrepreneurs Presentation (Seedcamp)
Description: The Foundation partnered with SEE ICT to host an event at the White Palace where local startup founders presented their ideas to representatives from Seedcamp, a major European seed fund and accelerator. The goal was to help Serbian companies connect with global networks and funding opportunities.
· Motivational & Leadership Lectures
Nick Vujicic Motivational Lecture (White Palace)
The Foundation organized at least two major lectures by world-renowned motivational speaker Nick Vujicic (a Serb born in Australia, born without limbs), held at the White Palace with students, managers, and representatives of socially responsible companies. These talks focused on resilience, setting big goals, and personal development — consistent with the Foundation’s mission to inspire youth and professionals alike.
